I am thrilled to share a sneak peek of another Red Barn at Hampshire College Wedding. Jaclyn and Chris were tons of fun to photograph and their wedding was a blast.
I love sharing their story and what they enjoyed most on their wedding day. Having said that let’s hear from Jaclyn and Chris and find out about their Red Barn at Hampshire College wedding.

We met when I was working as a physical therapist assistant and Chris hurt his back and received physical therapy at my office. We hit it off and after he finished PT he asked me out…and we have been together ever since.
At a beautiful little park in Stonington, CT
The ceremony…seeing each other for the first time and sharing our sand ceremony and vows surrounded by our family and friends. Our first dance was also a lot of fun. We had been taking dance lessons and were able to pull off a very cool rumba to “Dancing Days.”
Plan and make decisions together, and ask for help when you need it. Find a DJ and a photographer you connect with, they are such an important part of your day, and you want to work with people who can see your vision. We were very happy with Greg as our photographer and Bob Raina as our DJ. Also pick a venue not just for how it looks, but for how it makes you feel. For us the Red Barn gave us the vibe we were looking for and we couldn’t be more happy we chose to have our wedding there.
We would recommend taking group photos at each table instead of trying to pull people from cocktail hour.
It was a “boho” style Lillian West dress which I got from an awesome wedding shop, Beautiful Bride Boutique, West Boylston, MA.
Greg is great! He has a creative eye and makes you feel comfortable.
We did not see each other before the wedding, we wanted to have that moment at the ceremony.
Listen to your photographer! Greg gave great direction had great ideas we just listened to him and had fun!
Your best friends and your family! I was very lucky to have my 2 maids of honors, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my aunt get ready with me in the bridal suite at the Red Barn. Having them there to support me set the tone for the whole day. Spending that time with them was very special and I am so happy I was able to have them all there.
Do you best to stay grounded and present during the whole process. Planning can be tough and at times frustrating, but if you work together and let your decisions reflect who you are as a couple everything will turn out beautifully.
Dancing Days -Stone Temple Pilots We had a couple friends play Dancing Days acoustic during our ceremony as well, it was awesome!
Now let’s see a sneak peek of their wedding photos!
