I am so thrilled to be sharing with you a sneak peek of MaryPat and Patrick’s Hampshire College wedding.

Let’s hear about their Hampshire College wedding at the Red Barn from the newlyweds.

On top of Mount Holyoke!

Dancing with our family and friends, and cutting our cake!

4 years

Amazing! We had a lot of buildup to the day of our wedding due to rescheduling due to COVID , but it was absolutely worth the wait!

Keep a spreadsheet of vendors, dates, guests, everything. Writing everything down kept all of our details straight for us.

Trust the photographer- they know what is best!

I got my dress at VOWS in Watertown. Absolutely worth driving there, because they had an amazing selection! When I put on my dress the first time, I finally felt like a bride!! I knew it was the one.

It was awesome working with Greg and Sage! They both had a calming but fun presence, whether that was singing along to some music with the bridesmaids while they were getting ready, or setting up gorgeous shots at our venue! They were around when we needed them, but definitely were not intrusive or pushy.

We did not see each other before the wedding. We were glad to have waited because the moment of walking down the aisle was much more special!

Enjoy the time you have to yourselves as a couple when you are taking photos!

Definitely bring backup shoes (for both brides and grooms!). Even if you think your shoes are comfortable, they are not after 4 hours of running around and dancing.

Mary Ann Dennis of All Events Realized really helped bring the vision of our day together! From flowers to coordinating, she did it all!
The Red Barn was the best venue to work with. They were SO helpful from rescheduling to the amazing food for the reception.

We were both nervous about saying our vows, but it turned out great and it was such a special touch to write our own. We also were worried about details falling together, but everything worked out. Even if it didn’t- no one noticed otherwise!

Don’t plan during a global pandemic.
