What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding

Make sure to plan everything in advance so that you can be present on the wedding day. Extra activities can be fun for guests and help keep the celebration going.

What photography-related advice would you offer to a couple?

Make sure you know which combinations of people you want photographed.

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

Annierose’s was a coincidental find at Macy’s. Laura’s was from a bridesmaid’s boutique.

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Efficient, relaxed, and stress free. For reception/candid photos, in the best way possible, I barely noticed you were there. You and your team were extremely adaptable and accommodating for last minute photo additions.

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

Yes, we loved getting ready together.

Any tips on how to prepare for the wedding photos?

Have a point person who knows all the wedding party and family members, to gather the needed people for each photo.

Any tips you have for preparing your wedding party for photos? What did you tell them, how did you get them to cooperate, what did you do or what would you have done differently?

Make sure they know the timeline and designate someone to help you stick to it. Starting 5 minutes behind on one item can quickly snowball into 30 minutes behind on your day. Also, make sure your wedding party is aware of which photos they will be needed for and what time they will be taking photos.

Any tips on what to bring?

Have detail shot items pre-organized. I set out our photographer copies of our save the dates and invites so our photographer could easily capture those when the time was right.
