How did you two meet?

At a college meet up

How did he pop the question?

He asked the question after a lovely hike at Blue Hills. We climbed up to the observatory and were lucky enough to be the only ones around. That’s when got on one knee and asked me to marry him

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

I loved having all my friends and family there to celebrate with us. I really also enjoyed doing the sunset photos which gave us a quiet moment away with just us.

How long have you been together?

11 years

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?

We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Everything came together seamlessly. We picked the best bunch of vendors who made it all happen and I wouldn’t have wished for it to be any other way.

What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding

Don’t stress the small things. Prioritize what’s important to you and pick the vendors you trust that will come together to make it happen.

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

I found it in the same bridal store my sister got hers 7 years ago. I only tried on 4 dresses before I knew this was the one.

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Overall super amazing. I was incredibly nervous when we first started but Greg and Lesley had such a warm opening presence I eventually was able to rid myself of the jitters. You two worked so wonderfully together we could really see the teamwork happening when setting up the shots.

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

We did a first look and it was perfect. I am so glad we got the chance to enjoy the moment together before the ceremony as it was so much more peaceful and intimate. The moment I saw Jacob is when I was able to shake away all the jitters. I wouldn’t have wished for it to be any different and really recommend for any people who are anxious or less comfortable being in the spotlight.
