I have often been at the Red Barn and so much that I feel like the Red Barn Wedding photographer.

I am so thrilled to share another spectacular wedding. Stacy and Tom and everyone with them were so wonderful to photograph.

How did you two meet?

Tom and Stacy were random roommates when they moved off-campus while attending UMass. After two years of learning to live with each other and becoming friends, we started dating.

How did he pop the question?

At the top of Precipice Mountain in Acadia National Park! (That is not an easy hike!)

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

The first look and getting to see each other, celebrating with all our friends and family, dancing the night away!

How long have you been together?

8 years

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?

So much better than we could have imagined! Filled with joy and laughter.

What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding

Go with the flow and enjoy the day. There are so many moving pieces, so don’t stress out about the little details.

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

The dress was the first one I tried on! I picked it out and after trying on about 10 more dresses, I kept coming back to the first one I tried.

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Greg was awesome getting all the pictures we wanted but without rushing us or taking us away from our family and friends for too long.

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

Yes! So glad we did the first look and had some time together before the ceremony.

Britanny at the Red Barn kept the event running SO smoothly!!

What was the first song you danced to as husband and wife? Father-daughter dance? Mother-son dance?

I will Follow You into the Dark by Death Cab. It’s one of our favorites and we’ve seen them live together several times. It was fun perfecting that dance, even after having to postpone the wedding. With an extra year to practice our dances, we also danced to Be my baby by Leslie Grace – adding some Bachata into our dance skill set.
