How did you two meet?

We met online, on Plenty of Fish! Francois was the one who found me.

How did he pop the question?

On stage, during one of my shows at the Big E in September 2021.

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

When the sky cleared up, as soon as Francois started saying his vows.

How long have you been together?

8 years

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?

A blur (lol), a roller-coaster of emotions, a lot of teamwork, tons of trust in our vendors and most importantly so much love from our friends and family!

What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding

Try to pause during your ceremony to take it all in… and trust your vendor’s experience on your wedding day and just enjoy the ride!

What photography-related advice would you offer to a couple?

Be clear about your ideas and expectations ahead of the wedding day, as you won’t have time to manage that during the event.

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

I got my dress at Pearl Bridal in Holyoke, on Thanksgiving weekend 2021. With Covid, we had to get some of my family from Canada to attend via Zoom. I tried 8 dresses, and 3 were final contenters… But the one I chose made me tear up as soon as I saw myself in it It was an instant YES to the dress!

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

You were very calming and reassuring, especially about the weather!!! You and your team were stellar!

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

We did a 1st look and it was so precious. The intimacy of that moment is really special!

Any tips on how to prepare for the wedding photos?

Researching ideas online and discussing them with your photographer AHEAD of time is a must.

Any tips that you have about preparing your wedding party for the photos? What did you tell them, how did you get them to cooperate, what did you do or what would you have done differently?

I really did not prepare them, now that I think of it! Haha

What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about regarding your wedding day, and what was the outcome?

When we arrived for the 1st look, my ring was “lost” for about 20 minutes. My poor bridesmaids were scrambling to find it while I was getting pictures taken. They ended up finding the black leather box stuck inside my black Crocs sandals… haha Crisis averted!

What’s one piece of advice you would give to other couples for planning their wedding?
