I am super excited to share Ashley and Mark’s Publick House Wedding Photos.

A fantastic wedding at the Historic Publick House.

Let’s hear about Ashley and Mark’s experience at the Publick House!

April 11, 2026

We met the “old-fashioned” way, as Mark likes to say. We met on Bumble!

Mark asked me to marry him at dinner in the North End of Boston. We had spent the weekend with my best friend and her husband who had just told us they were pregnant! It was the best weekend.

My favorite moment from the wedding was standing under the chuppah that Mark had built and reading our vows to each other. It was such a special moment.

We’ve been together for almost 4 years

Our wedding day was the perfect day! Everyone we love was there to celebrate our love and we could feel their love and support all day long. It was the best day of our lives.

Make sure you’re on the same page as your partner about what you want. And at the end of the day, it’s YOUR wedding! You don’t have to do anything just because of tradition. Switch up anything that doesn’t feel like you and add in what does.

Get a photographer you trust and whose style you like. There are so many photographers out there, and you definitely won’t vibe with all of them.

I LOVE my dress! I got it at David’s Bridal, which surprised me. What’s really cool about my dress is that it’s actually two pieces, a corset top and a skirt (with pockets)! I think that’s really cool because it would’ve made it easier if I wanted to keep the corset and switch the skirt to something else for my reception. And also, I can wear the corset with jeans or something on our first anniversary! I just think it’s so versatile. I did not pick it out myself, my stylist did, and I’m so glad she did because I fell in love with it once I put it on. It made me feel beautiful and like a bride, that’s how I knew it was the one.

Greg was great throughout the entire wedding process! Mark and I are both easygoing and let Greg take the lead, since he’s the expert, and we’re so glad we did. He made us both feel very comfortable as two people who are very uncomfortable in front of a camera.

We did do a first look, and we’re both happy we did. It took a lot of pressure off of seeing each other for the first time as I was walking down the aisle. It also allowed us to take most of our pictures before the ceremony, so we could enjoy a little bit of cocktail hour with our guests.

We 100% recommend our venue for anyone planning a wedding!
We got married at the Publick House Inn in Sturbridge, MA. and it was PERFECT! They are a well oiled machine there and made our day run smoothly while also make us feel so special.

Our first song was Can You Feel the Love Tonight by Elton John. We skipped traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances and did a family dance. I danced with my older brother while Mark danced with his mom, and then part of the way through we switched and I danced with Mark’s dad while he danced with my mom. This way everyone got to be included! We danced to You’ll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. It was a really special moment for everyone.
Let’s take a sneak peek at their photos…
