Kelly and Paul’s Zukas Hilltop Barn Wedding on September 28, 2018
Today I get to bring you such an incredible Zukas Hilltop Barn Wedding from last fall. Kelly and Paul were amazing and their love and the love of their family so evident on their wedding I am sure it will show through in the photos.

How did Paul Pop the question?
He involved my whole family in a scavenger hunt. He wrote clues to the next family member..We drove from my mom’s, facetimed my brother in Japan, to my cousin’s, aunts, sisters etc. After seeing everyone in my family we ended up at the hardwick winery where he had the band learn/ play our wedding song. You’re my best friend. He proposed during that song
The ceremony. And The picture video my sister surprised us with. My son walking me down the aisle.
Try to relax and ENJOY your day. Everyone always says it’s over in a flash and it truly is..
Have picture ideas that you like in mind but listen to the photographers… it’s their job, they know what they’re doing.
Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?
Pearl bridal , holyoke MA. Fell in love with it but I had that thought that maybe I would find one better so I continued to look…… I shouldn’t have. It was just more stress for no reason… I ended up back at pearl with the first dress I loved
How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?
It was honestly great! I have no complaints. I was very stressed as the day approached. Worried about our 5 kids… if they would be still, if they would stay clean, not mess their hair up etc… but you and your team were so great with them. One taking pictures, one making them laugh/ smile. You all calmed me down Instantly.
Did you see each other before the wedding?
We did first look. We didn’t want to do that at first but so happy we did! It felt great to get most of the photos over with. While the kids still looked great. And it gave us and our bridal party time to relax. And my husband and I time to focus on pictures just of us.
Any tips on what to bring?
Snacks, coffee, extra hair spray, safety pins. We got a long, decorative sign saying thank you for us to hold for pictures… thinking ahead for thank you cards. Our DJ, Greg Bedard was amazing as well. From Spencer, MA.He was so nice and new exactly what we wanted. An online website, where we could choose all our songs. Also so many extras such as lighting and lanterns. He even put our wedding vows in our first dance song.. and made it very easy for us. Greg’s wife did our photo booth, so many props, layouts and backdrops!
Our Justice of the peace. Arthur and Arlene Tatro also from Spencer, Ma. Were the sweetest couple. Helped us so much through out the whole process.. they had a binder full of many options for vows, rings and a bunch of ceremony ceremonies to choose from.
We also had a caricaturist, Mike Briggs. He did an amazing job and even stayed past the time we played him for because the line was so long!
Etsy! Etsy! Etsy! Suzees candles was amazing for seating gifts. She was so nice! We also did succulents that were a huge hit.
