What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding

It goes by too fast. Don’t plan every moment of the evening.

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

Julie Allen’s in Newtown, CT. I saw a picture on their Instagram and had to put it on. I still tried on every style possible but nothing compared.

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Greg was kind and accommodating. I can’t wait to see the pictures!

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

We went our separate ways after the rehearsal dinner. Since we already have a house together it was nice for us to have a night apart. It made the first look more special.

Any tips that you have about preparing your wedding party for the photos? What did you tell them, how did you get them to cooperate, what did you do or what would you have done differently?

Tell all people ahead of time who will be in photos. Try to give them an itinerary ahead of time. At the end of the day, all will work out either way.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to other couples for planning their wedding?

Do a little each week. It takes longer than you think to get everything organized.
