I am so excited to bring you another of my favorite weddings at the Inn on Boltwood with Nicole and Chris.

The weddings like Nicole and Chris’s, where you can see the joy on Nicoles face all throughout the day, are simply just so much fun! It is so incredible to get to work with such joyful brides.

Let’s hear more about their Inn on Boltwood Wedding.

Nicole and Chris met while attending Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. They were in the same class in school and became friends before starting a relationship.

Chris knew Nicole took ice skating lessons as a little girl and wanted to propose to her on the ice. He rented an entire ice rink and took her to dinner and a movie before taking her to the outdoor rink. It was covered in twinkly lights and when Nicole turned around he was on one knee!

Met 2014, Dating since 2015, Engaged since 2017

Overall the wedding experience was well worth all the planning and attention to detail as we loved our wedding! It ended up being an amazing party and celebration and that is what we wanted.

Decide what the two of you want and take advice from others but ultimately do what you want and will make you happy! When things turn out the way you imagined you will feel so much joy.

Greg is AMAZING to work with! Try to think about your venue and what pictures you would like. Be sure to listen to your photographer’s suggestions too!

Nicole lives in MA but was visiting The groom’s family in Ohio. By chance she went to Atlas bridal salon and tried on this dress, it was immediately apparent this was the dress! The associate told Nicole to close her eyes and picture walking down the aisle, then open her eyes. When Nicole did this she cried!

We enjoyed working with Greg immensely. He was very understanding, thought carefully about our photos and worked with us and our friends and family.

No, we waited until the walk down the aisle. We spent the night before apart and then trying not to run into each other made things fun and exciting! It also made the walk down the aisle and the photos genuinely amazing.

Snacks! And keep everything organized to the best of your ability because it will make the next day easier.

Alonzo from Marx Entertainment kept the dance floor packed and excited all night long.

We used multiple sites including Zazzle and Costco for invitations, Oriental Trading and Personalization Mall for decor pieces.

Nicole was most nervous about the walk down the aisle and potentially falling! It didn’t happen! Chris was afraid of stepping on the dress during the first dance and he didn’t!

Give yourself plenty of time to plan and have backup options!
