Emily and Eddie’s Red Barn Wedding.
What an amazing time we had photographing Emily and Eddie’s wedding at the Red Barn last summer. Now is a perfect time of year to look back and think about warmer weather.
Let’s find out more about the two of them from Emily.
Sister-in-law and I were pledging a sorority and she had a party at her parent’s house while they were out of town. I saw his picture on the wall and was hooked! It took 5 years before the “stars aligned” and it was meant for us to date!
One week before Christmas at Nubble lighthouse York Maine My family was stationed on the lighthouse for 2 years during my dads coast guard career. He was the last keeper before they automated. The lighthouse has held a special place in our hearts and we try to visit once every few years. Christmas time they put lights up so we wanted to go. He proposed down on the rocks… totally unexpected! Glad he didn’t drop the ring as I freaked out!
The fun casualness! We wanted everyone to be comfortable and relaxed. Also every decoration and detail was handmade by either us or our family members! That made it even more special!
We did not see each other before the wedding and I’m happy because the feeling of him seeing me as I walked down the aisle was exactly how I imagined it growing up! I did my first look with my father instead and I’m so happy I did that it made him feel special also!
Absolutely amazing! Greg and his team made us feel so comfortable. Even with the craziness of all our family wanting photos Greg went above and beyond accommodating everyone while still spending time and getting us the perfect shots we wanted. He even used some of his yoga planking skills to get awesome shots due to the rain and ground beign wet! I cant wait to see how the night time photo came out! We will definitely be using Greg in the future for the next adventures in our life!
Here are just a few of the amazing wedding professionals that made their day so smooth.
