We had an amazing time photographing Becky and Jason’s Publick House wedding. The Publick House and its staff were just amazing!

How did Jason pop the question?

It was Christmas Eve. He had his cousin play “angel eyes” on the piano. He took the ring out of a stocking, got down on one and proposed in front of all of our family.

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

Becky: watching Jason dance with our daughters

Jason: watching her walk down the aisle

What photography-related advice would you offer to a couple?

Have a list of photos that you want and realize that each photo will take time. Make sure you have a point person to get everyone in line. Try to keep everyone’s attention.

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Greg was great. We appreciate his patience and professionalism. Plus he chuckled at our jokes, that’s always nice.

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

We did do a first look. Jason: “it was alright. I like the time it saves. It was kinda cool just being me and you and nobody else.” Becky: “I couldn’t wait to see him in his kilt. I got to see his reaction to me without anyone else nearby which was great. Having the opportunity to do wedding party photos before was good too”.

Etsy was huge for our keepsake and gifts. Shop names were Toadstool garden for the handfasting ribbon; Frosted Willow for our daughters jewelry; SignYouStyle for our awesome keepsake; elegant monogramming for the handkerchiefs I gave my parents. #kiltrentalusa
