How did you two meet?

Eric and I both attended Westfield State University. We unknowingly had a class together and I randomly sat next to Eric. He introduced himself to me and the rest is history!

How did he pop the question?

At Piers Park in East Boston during sunset! The city skyline and Boston Harbor were our back drop. It was stunning!

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

Sitting down at our sweetheart table and looking out at all of the guests that came out to celebrate with us!

How long have you been together?

8 years

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?

Absolutely amazing! It was so fun seeing how all of our planning and details came together!

What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding

Take a few minutes for yourself as a couple after the ceremony concludes and before you start mingling. This time is so worth having to reflect on your ceremony, soak up all of your love for one another, and get ready to enjoy the rest of the night!

What photography-related advice would you offer to a couple?

Your photography team will make sure everything is perfect!! All you have to worry about is living in the moment!!

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

My dress is from Alexandria’s Bridal in Fall River, MA. I knew that this was my dress because it made me feel absolutely beautiful!! I was filled with all of the feelings that you read about in books when I knew my dress was the one!

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Both Eric and I agree that working with Greg and his team leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day was an absolute dream! Greg made us feel so comfortable, gave us direction that he knew would make the photographs come out perfect and his presence is so calming which is appreciated on a day that typically brings so many different types of emotions! We would choose Greg to be our wedding photographer a million times over if we could!

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

Eric and I chose very early on in the planning process that we would not do a first look so that the first time we saw each other was walking down the aisle! I would recommend this choice because it truly brings all the emotions that you hope for when walking down the aisle and it gives your guests the chance to see your love and appreciation for one another!

Any tips on how to prepare for the wedding photos?

Don’t be nervous in front of the camera!! Greg will position you in a way that he knows will make the photos look amazing!

What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about regarding your wedding day and what was the outcome?

My husband and I were most nervous about doing our first dance because all eyes would be on us! Once you’re in that moment though, you truly are not thinking about or looking at anything else. Just enjoy the moments that you have with your new husband or wife!

What’s one piece of advice you would give to other couples for planning their wedding?

We read our vows to each other during the ceremony and that was a huge hit for our wedding guests! It gave everyone insight into our relationship and allowed our guests to see and hear the love we have for one another!

What was the first song you danced to as husband and wife? Father-daughter dance? Mother-son dance?

Our first dance song was Wondering Why by the Red Clay Strays. The song was sang by my brother and my uncle played the acoustic guitar while my brother sang. My family is glued together through music so this was a fantastic way to showcase this part of us and it was so meaningful to my husband and I to have family play this for us!

My father-daughter dance was to I Hope You Dance, a version by Chris Stapleton and the mother-son dance was to What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.

I also surprised and dedicated the song When God Made You My Mother by Riley Roth to my mom so that she was able to have a special moment of her own as the mother of the bride!
