Log Cabin Wedding Photographer | Erika and Brian’s Wedding

I am so thrilled to bring you another spectacular wedding from the Log Cabin in Easthampton. Erika and Brian were so chill and easy to work with and photograph.

Let’s hear about their experience on the wedding day.

How did you two meet?

We’re both teachers and met at the school we work at.

How did Brian pop the question?

Brian remembered my favorite view in Burlington, Vermont and proposed there. It’s an easy hike onto a cliff that overlooks Lake Champlain.

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

When Brian and I read our personal vows because we got to share with our friends and family what we love about each other. We loved our family and bridal party introductions because it got everyone excited. Dancing with friends and family was really fun.

What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding

Have fun with your planning and take your time!! Trust that all of it will come together to create a beautiful day you’ll remember forever. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

I found my dress at Alexandra’s Boutique in Fall River, MA. It was the fourth dress I tried on. I love my dress because it’s comfortable, sleeveless and had just the right amount of sparkle to it.

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Super easy and relaxing. Greg is super organized, really friendly and listened to Brian and I if we had any questions or concerns. He knows what he’s doing when it comes to lighting, poses and setting up scenery. His sense of composition when setting up for a photo is always on point. Greg and his assistant were extremely professional and prepared.

The Log Cabin (Nicole was our coordinator) – Holyoke, MA -Amazing!! All the staff was super nice and organized! The view is absolutely gorgeous. The food is delicious. Everything went so well!!!

TC Disc Jockey (Springfield, MA) -Great DJ!! Has much experience with weddings. Played great music for our social hour and reception. No issues at all everything ran smoothly.

Honey Hair & Beauty (Westfield, MA) -Ashley, Amber & Kae did hair and makeup for 7 of my bridesmaids and myself. All three ladies were on point of what I wanted for make up and hair as well as what my bridesmaids wanted. Everyone looked beautiful.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to other couples for planning their wedding?

Your wedding day goes quick!! Make sure to take time to yourself and your spouse. We took 10 minutes after photos to enjoy the view we had and just be in the moment.
