I first photographed Melanie and Paul last fall at the Poet Seat Tower for their engagement session. I could tell right away they were both very comfortable in front of the camera and no doubt photogenic. They both made photographing their engagement session easy work for me and we lucked out with a beautiful fall sky.
Photographing their wedding was a lot of fun! We started the day a Paul’s Parent’s house and with the guys and it was great they were able to take the corvette for a spin and some photos. From there we headed to Paul and Melanie’s house where Melanie and the Bridesmaids where getting ready. From there it was off to The Delaney House in Holyoke for some more photos and the ceremony. The Delaney House has a hidden gem in Holyoke Massachusetts Wedding Photography with their beautiful Ceremony site tucked away off to the side of the venue.
The real treat of the evening, besides the beautiful ceremony at The Delaney House, happened to be Melanie and Paul’s first Dance. They Choreographed their first dance with class and preformed equally as well. They were both light on their feet and graceful. It was truly stunning to watch and fun to photograph.
There are a lot of beautiful wedding venues in Western Massachusetts to photograph at and The Delaney House certainly fits in with the best of them. The weather really couldn’t have been much better for their wedding day. Sunny and warm with no rain. They had originally thought about the following Saturday for their wedding date but changed it to September 27th due to conflicts with family scheduling. The following Saturday brought down so much rain that am I sure they feel they made the correct choice of dates.
Congratulations to Melanie and Paul!
