Alicia and Mike’s wedding Longmeadow Mass Wedding Photography at the Twin Hills Country Club

Twin Hills CC was a gorgeous place to photograph Alicia and Mike’s wedding. Amazing scenery and a helpful staff, you just can’t beat it.

Let’s hear from Alicia on some of her details of the wedding day.

How did you two meet?

We met at Samuel’s in downtown Springfield, MA

How did he pop the question?

Michael asked me at our favorite spot Black Birch Vineyard in Southampton, MA. It is our favorite spot in the summer to go to and enjoy a glass of wine and some good music.

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

The first look was one of my favorite moments. It was time for just Michael and I to see each other and take some pictures together. I was great to see his reaction of how I looked by ourselves with no one around.

How long have you been together?

We have been together for four years

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?

Perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. Everything went so smoothly from beginning to end. Twin Hills Country Club did a great job on making everything run smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding

Enjoy every minute of your special day. Something will go wrong. Don’t let it get to you because the time goes by so fast!!

What photography-related advice would you offer to a couple?

Take photo advise from your photographer, ask them what you think is best. They are the professionals they know how to make photos look great.

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

I got my dress from Bridal Heirlooms in South Hadley, MA Designer: Casablanca Style #1975 I knew I wanted straps and all lace. I tried on few different styles, but when I tried on my dress I knew it was the one. I didn’t want to take it off.

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

Yes we did a first look. I wouldn’t have done it any differently. I was happy that I got all my bridal party and family photos done before the ceremony so I could enjoy all my company at cocktail hour.

Any tips on how to prepare for the wedding photos?

Just make sure to have your wedding party all together a least a half hour before photos so your aren’t running around looking for people. You want to save as much time as possible!!
