Danielle and Kyle’s Forest Park engagement photography session.
Danielle and Kyle wanted a snowy engagement photography session and mother nature did not disappoint.
Let’s find out more about this wonderful couple.
Kyle and I actually grew up in the same town and attended the same middle school. We were never really friends, but we knew of each other. During my second year of college we ended up having a mutual friend that was eager to introduce us. Kyle agreed to make us dinner before I went back to school from winter break. The night before I left he came over, but decided to bring us to Burger King instead. We hung out that night and then a couple weeks later he requested me on Facebook. He started messaging me and eventually asked for my number.
We were visiting our favorite place to vacation – Wilmington, NC. We vacation here at least once a year and have always found the river walk to be our favorite part. This year we decided to have four of our closest friends join us for the vacation and we planned to go downtown to watch the sunset and go out for a nice dinner afterwards. We all dressed up and decided to go to the other side of the river walk and watch the sunset over the water and the city. After taking tons of pictures, Kyle asked to take one more. He grabbed my hands and started talking. He says he had a whole thing planned out to say, but he got too emotional and couldn’t get any of it out. Kyle dropped down on one knee and asked me to marry him in front of our closest friends. We celebrated afterwards at our favorite restaurant in downtown Wilmington.
What was your immediate thought/reaction when he or she asked for your hand in marriage?
I was beyond excited and could not believe it was actually happened. We had talked about it, but never in detail and I had no idea it was going to happen in that moment.
It was amazing to have our friends there to witness it and celebrate with us afterwards.
Now let’s get to their amazing winter Forest Park engagement photos.
